Foster’s Supermarket would like to announce that Pero Family Farms Food Company, LLC has initiated a voluntary product recall of its Butternut Squash Trays because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria Monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people and others with weakened immune systems. No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this issue.

While Foster’s does carry other Pero Family Farms products, we do not carry this item.

Foster’s & Priced Right are not affected by this recall.
