Together We Make a Difference

Prostate cancer is the 2nd most common cancer in American men. The American Cancer Society’s estimates for prostate cancer in the United States for 2023 are about 34,700 deaths from prostate cancer. – cancer.org

A lot of men go through life without addressing many of these physical and mental issues that flow into the perceived stigma of being identified as ‘weak’. This reluctance persists when society generally turns a blind eye to the conditions of our brothers, fathers, and sons.

This month, we are shining a spotlight on their plight as we bring awareness to an issue that needs not hide in the dark.

Round-up your purchases and donate your change or a few bills at the register.

All funds raised will be donated to the Cayman Islands Cancer Society, to give hope, dignity, and incredible care to people who are forced to reconcile their new reality.

The Cayman Islands Cancer Society

Foster’s is a proud supporter of the Cayman Islands Cancer Society and their incredible effort of providing financial support and undertaking public health and awareness initiatives.

This ‘MOvember’, the CICS is encouraging men to grow out their beards in solidarity to raise awareness for men’s health issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health.

To get involved with the MOvember initiative, register here. From November 1st entrants will start clean-shaven and have the month to grow their MO and encourage family, friends, neighbors and co-workers to sponsor them.

So, join Foster’s and the Cayman Islands Cancer Society as we work together to offer many in our community a chance at healing.
