Foster’s Food Fair-IGA would like to announce that Adam Bros. Farming, Incorporated has issued a voluntary recall on red leaf lettuce, green leaf lettuce and cauliflower harvested on November 27 through 30, 2018 due to a possible contamination with Escherichia coli O157:H7 bacteria (E.Coli).

Adams Bros, Farming, Inc. of Santa Maria, California has reported that none of the recalled product has tested positive for E.Coli O157:H7 and no illnesses have been reported. However, they are recalling the products out of an abundance of caution as the “company feels a strong commitment to its customers and has worked for years to provide a safe and healthy food supply.”

Foster’s IGA does not carry Cauliflower, Red Leaf or Green Leaf Lettuce supplied by Adams Bros. Farming, Inc. and not been affected by this recall.

Customers should check the UPC’s on Adams Bros. Farming, Incorporated Kotex branded products in their homes to be sure none of the affected product has been purchased.
