Foster’s Food Fair-IGA would like to announce that Kimberly-Clarke has issued a voluntary recall on some of U by Kotex Sleek Tampons due to the product unraveling when being removed. There have also been a small number of reports of infections, vaginal irritation, injury and other symptoms. The recall is limited to specific lots that were manufactured prior to October 16, 2018.

Foster’s IGA does not carry U by Kotex Sleek Tampons and not been affected by this recall.

No other Kotex branded products are included within this recall.

Customers should check the UPC’s on Kotex branded products in their homes to be sure none of the affected product has been purchased.
